This home was left vacant during the winter when temps dropped into the single digits and the wind chill brought temps down to the negatives and a pipe broke.  SERVPRO of East Monroe County always recommends leaving your heat on and taking proper precautions before leaving for an extended period of time.  Also make sure someone is checking on your home periodically!
